University of Sudan signs an agreement with a Japanese institute to develop acacia trees:

University of Sudan has signed an extension of the already signed joint cooperation agreement with the institute of Humanities and Nature-Japan. Under the agreement research will be conducted to provide effective solutions to manage Almakseet trees to get the maximum economic benefit as well as joint research to draw conclusions with the effect of enabling researchers to develop acacia trees and the incorporation of the machine in harvest processes rather than the traditional means to realize a high economic crop yield of Gum Arabic.
